How to Use the App

💬Decoding a Message

Copy a text message from your conversation and open the Decode tab. Tap "Paste from Messages" or type it in manually. You can also tap the microphone to dictate.

Set the context first — tap the bar at the top to choose who she is (girlfriend, ex, date, etc.) and add any extra detail like "she went quiet after our date". The more context you give, the more accurate the decode.

Hit Decode and the AI will break down the message into: a plain-English translation of what she means, the emotional tone, reading between the lines, urgency level, three tailored reply suggestions, and what NOT to say.

🔀Single Message vs Full Thread

Single Message mode analyses one message in isolation — perfect for "what does she mean by this?" moments.

Full Thread mode (Lite & Premium) lets you paste an entire conversation. The AI reads the full back-and-forth to give deeper insight into how the conversation is evolving, power dynamics, and what to say next.

🚩Red Flag Detection

The Red Flags tab (Lite & Premium) scans a conversation for manipulation tactics, gaslighting, love bombing, breadcrumbing, and other warning signs.

Paste the conversation and the AI will highlight specific red flags with severity ratings, explain why each one is concerning, and give you an overall risk assessment.

🧠Ask the Expert

Expert Chat (Premium) gives you a private conversation with an AI relationship advisor. Ask follow-up questions about a decode, get advice on how to handle a situation, or talk through what you're feeling.

The expert has context about your decode history, so it can reference past conversations and patterns when giving advice.

⭐Outcome Rating — How the AI Learns

After you've replied to her, go to the History tab and rate how it went: Great, OK, or Backfired.

This isn't just for your records. The next time you decode a message from the same type of relationship, the AI sees your past decodes AND their outcomes. It uses this to spot what works for you and what doesn't.

Over time, the AI picks up on patterns — maybe direct replies work better with your girlfriend, or playing it cool backfires with your ex. The more you rate, the smarter it gets.

👤People & Presets

Save the people you text most on the People tab. Give them a name, relationship type, and optional context.

When you decode, tap the context bar and select a saved person. This automatically sets the relationship and context, saving time and ensuring consistent pattern tracking across all your decodes with that person.

✍️My Reply Style

The Style tab (Lite & Premium) lets you teach the AI how you actually text. Add examples of real messages you've sent — the more natural, the better.

When you decode, the AI uses your style examples to generate replies that sound like you, not like a robot. Instead of generic suggestions, you'll get replies that match your tone, slang, and personality.

📜History & Pattern Detection

Every decode is saved in the History tab, grouped by person or relationship type. Tap any card to expand the full analysis, copy replies, or decode the same message again.

When you have 2+ decodes from the same relationship type, the AI automatically detects behavioural patterns: Is she repeating the same emotional pattern? Is there an escalation or de-escalation trend? Pattern insights appear in your analysis automatically.

✨Refine Reply

Not quite happy with a suggested reply? Premium users can tap "Refine this reply" to tweak it. Choose from: make it funnier, make it shorter, sound less needy, be more direct, or sound more caring.

You can refine the same reply multiple times until it's exactly right.

📊 Plans & Credits

Credits are used each time you analyse a message, scan for red flags, or chat with the Expert. Your plan determines how many credits you get per month and which features are available. Credits reset every 30 days from the date you signed up.

💰 Credit Costs

Higher-tier plans use more credits per operation because they use more powerful AI models that produce deeper, more nuanced analysis — but you also get far more credits.

🔒 Privacy

Messages are sent to OpenAI for processing and decoded results are saved to your account so you can view them in History. We don't sell your data, don't track you across apps, and don't share your messages with anyone except the AI model that processes them.

You can delete individual decodes or clear your entire history at any time from the History tab. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
